I’m interested in the alchemy of metals, Wabi-Sabi, the emotional burden which can be impregnated objects, the effects of light to impinge on the material, space and the surface on observed and how it manifests in them over time.

As an artist, I feel heir to the ancient tradition of craftsman-goldsmith, linking the ancestral work of metal-work and its mysticism, ritual, almost magical with the contemporaneity of the sculptural fleeting.

My education has been eclectic from the Madrid School of Jewellery training in visual arts film. Gemology studies have allowed me to become familiar with the nature of the materials. And the life experience of living for years in countries like Egypt, Israel and Japan have completed my plastic and philosophical baggage.
